Javier Burillo

Javier Burillo believes that cooking is an expression of one’s passion and affection.  As an independent chef and baker, he specializes in making desserts.  What started as a hobby turned into a lifetime pursuit.  As a teenager, he tried making easy three-ingredient desserts and meals.  But as he grew older, he wanted to learn new skills that will allow him to create his own recipes. Like many other chefs and bakers, Javier Burillo is also a foodie.  He likes American, French, and Mexican cuisine.  When he’s not whipping up good food in the kitchen, he enjoys watching shows that feature delicious dishes such as “No Reservations, Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown,” “The Mind of a Chef,” “The Final Table,” “Ugly Delicious,” and “The Chef Show.”  He lists “Julie and Julia,” “Chef,” and “The Godfather” as his favorite movies.
